The engagement period is flying by and while I am so excited to be nearing our wedding date, I also find myself wishing it would slow down. I want to take in and appreciate the whole process- and I have been. But even then it still feels so quick! That’s why I was so excited when I stumbled across this stunning keepsake- Duncan & Stone: Engagement Journal. Local babes can snag this at City Supply Fayetteville! This is the exact thing I need, along with every other bride-to-be, to capture and treasure each and every step of the process.
The entire journal is so intentionally curated so that couples could truly hold on to the planning process, the events and their details, as well as the feelings they hold for one another and the engagement period.
The different sections are (I flip through the book in my reel here):
- Our Story Begins: Couples can reflect on how they met, include photos from dating, tell their proposal story, and include engagement photos.
- Questions for Her/Him: Both sections include the same questions which focus on sharing your favorite parts of them, how you know they are the one, etc. They are very thoughtful and intentional questions and are bound to be a precious read.
- Wedding Details: Here couples are able to record their planning process, details about their bridal events, ceremony, and include a keepsake of the invitation and photos.
- Letters to my Wife/Husband: This part sent me. I was flipping through the book and immediately knew I needed this for my wedding day. It has a couple pages for both the bride and groom to write letters to one another for their wedding day. Spencer and I plan to read each other’s when we are getting ready in our suites.
This is a must-have. I found it and of course bought it for myself because there’s just no way I could have not?! This would make an awesome gift for your bestie, family members, etc. I didn’t get it until last week, which was nearly 11 months after being engaged. It is never too late! If this stunning keepsake reminds you of that sweet bride-to-be, grab it! You won’t regret it and the bride will cherish it forever.
